As Time Goes By

A few of my parent's long time friends from Australia came back recently and we had dinner together last night. I was so blur when I was there. 3/4 of the people are unknown to me. Haha. Some, I know their name but can't recognise who. Some, look pretty familiar but no idea who they are. Extremely blur. I ended up playing with the 2 kids whom I know. Haha. Kids are just so easy to trick. Wakakakakaa

Anyway, had a conversation with one of the uncles there. Was discussing about the education system of Australia and Malaysia (You know how it got there. -.-) where all agreed that Australia's education system is alot better than Malaysia's. I'm not trying to pull down Malaysia's image or what but its true.

Australia's system prepare and train their children to be independent since young whereas Malaysia's spoon feed everyone child till they leave high school. Only in universities and colleges that they start to learn and build the independence in them. Which is also why Malaysians lose out to alot of people. That's a FACT!

Anyway, I gotta say that I salute that uncle's daughters - 3 sisters (what I call them). Hehe. They run their own line of clothes where they do all the designing, supplying, distributing, retailing and financing all by themselves. Isn't that great? I really salute them.

However, one thing I agree with what one of their uncles said - The 3 of them should not be involved in the same business. Which is rather true. I mean there's always pros and cons towards everything. The pros - they strenghten their relationships, it is a family business, no one get left out. The cons - there is no back up (if the business goes down, all 3 of them are down together), disagreements/dissatisfactory.

Oh well, business is BUSINESS.
That's all I can say.
Business should never be too emotional.
Anyway, I'm happy to see them again after 2 years (if I'm not mistaken). They have changed so much. I remember there was once, they were very punk-ish. Now, they are all so mature. Time flies. Time changes people. People grow as time flies by.
All the best to all of you in Australia. Hopefully next year will be our turn to visit you guys instead.
*Praying hard for the uncle who was admitted to hospital. Stay strong. You can definitely make it through! Everyone is supporting you. Don't give up uncle!!
