27th Hong Kong Film Award

Just finish watching the live telecast of The 27th Hong Kong Film Award 2008. I was supposed to be making exam notes. lol.

Anyway, this year, Tony Leung Chiu Wai was NOT nominated for the "Best Male Actor" category. Good also la. He adie win so many "Lead Actor" award. Give others some chance la.

This year's "Best Male Actor" nominations are Aaron Kwok (The Detective), Jet Li (The Warlords), Andy Lau (The Warlords), Lau Ching-Wan (Mad Detective) and Simon Yam (The Eye in the Sky).

And the award went to . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Nope. Not Andy Lau. lol. But his "brother" JET LI!!!

After sooo many years, there he goes. lol.

The "Best Director", nonetheless went to The Warlord's director, Peter Chan. Since his movie was nominated for so many categories. No need to say la. Won a few awards too. But I can't remember what. hehe. Wasn't paying attention till the major awards. hahahhaaa

So needless to say, the "Best Film" also went to The Warlords!!!

I seriously dunno how good the movie is cuz I didn't watch it although I wanted to. *sigh* I tak suka itu Takeshi Kaneshiro. Ever since I saw one of his movie that has Karen Mok and Zhao Wei (if I'm not mistaken) about lesbian relationship.... yuck. I hate all 3 of them.

Yes. I am such a person. One movie and thats all I need to stop liking or watching you. =P

I didn't mention anything about the "Best Female Actress" because the winner was . . . I dunno who. hahahaha. Some Mandarin speaking big sister. LOL

I like this year's host aka MCs - Sandra Ng, Dodo Cheng and Sammi Cheng. Dodo is as good as she always is. Sandra makes the whole thing funnier and real. Sammi.... is ok. She's new in MCing. So spare her la. hehe
