MMDA rant

(MMDA = Multimedia Design and Application = my subject)

Aaa~

Yet another day where Jazs wakes up early in the morning and find herself lack of sleep. (6 hours is NOT considered enough)

Went for consultation this morning only to find my work being modified 100%!!!!

Damn wtf ok... During our first sketch, he rejected my sketch and said its too conservative aka not moden aka old fashion la... FINE!! Nevermind. I admit that it was rather simple cuz well, the example that he let us see (senior work) was very simple. Hence, we thought we should do it simple too...

He gave us a website and told us to go see other people's work there.. The sites there are damn canggih and cool!! And so again, we thought that's what he wants. Flash!!

Did a second sketch filled with canggih flash ideas, he roughly see through (without asking us to explain) and approved the sketch!! wtf. You sure you faham ah?? Sweat kau kau

Then, he told us to do a mock website without all the flash and animation. Juz the photoshop will do. Ok. No problem. Did it. I tried executing the flash that I wanted. Failed it. Changed the idea. No more canggih flash. But the main idea of layout still remains.

Today went to let him see. He saw my homepage. Don't like people's original logo. Try changing it. But my lappie have limited fonts. So, the one he make not so nice.

I had 4 cars in my homepage. He took away 2. And ask me change the other 2 leftovers too. -.-"

He see my 1st content page and said, "Tak boleh!!! Ini tak sama ni.." Then he started changing my layout.

and guess what??!!

It was DAMN DAMN simple and normal!!! Like WTF.

He was the one who said this type of layout is "TAK moden". I don't mind him changing my work. But at least make it better la... Or at least see my other pages 1st la...

Homepage are suppose to be different from other content pages!!

and he get paid RM200/page from his client.

Owh. We kinda went and curi tengok senior's work that are left outside the staff room.. The marks the he gave was soo low... highest only 25/30..

Imagine this. He changed their design 100%. They get 23/30 only. What does this mean to you?? He contradicting himself la!! It was his design wert. lol

Until today, I still dunno what I'm learning from this subject. Yes, we create website. But I thought we already did this last semester. An No, this is not a flash subject cuz we only learn flash next semester.
